Science in Context figure requirements

Cambridge University Press · how to size, label, and export your figure

How figures are handled

Science in Context sets no fixed column width and sizes or redraws figures in production. Submit clean, editable, high-resolution source and design your figure to read clearly at its final printed size.

Dimensions
No fixed widthssized to legibility / redrawn
Resolution
300 dpi minimum
Colour mode
CMYK

Accepted export formats

PNGPDFTIFFJPEG

Watch: Science in Context requires CMYK colour. FigureForge exports RGB, so convert to CMYK in your image or PDF editor before submitting.

There's no column width to match here, but the FigureForge preset still sets your export resolution, height, and format.
